About the position.

As an operator, you are responsible for independently running a machine or machine cell in a manufacturing company. You set up, monitor the process and safeguard the quality of the output. You work in the manufacturing industry in the Eindhoven region, where your technical knowledge directly affects production performance.

What will you be doing?

• Setting up and starting production machines or automated cells based on work orders and setup sheets
• Monitoring the production process for dimensions, cycle times and quality parameters
• Carrying out quality checks with measuring tools such as callipers, micrometers or go/no-go gauges
• Identifying and resolving first-level faults; escalating to the maintenance department for more complex breakdowns
• Changing over the machine for the next product or order in accordance with the changeover protocol
• Recording production data, faults and quality rejects in the ERP or MES system

What we ask of you.

• MBO qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent (level 2–3)
• At least 1 year's experience as an operator in an industrial production environment
• Experience operating CNC, injection moulding, stamping, press or similar machinery is a strong advantage
• Willingness to work shifts
• Precise, a problem-solver and able to make quality judgements independently
