Print Finishing Operator

About the position.

As a finishing operator, you’ll make sure printed labels and packaging are finished to a high standard. You’ll operate machinery for processes such as die-cutting, slitting, laminating and stripping away excess material. You’ll check the dimensions and quality of the finished products and ensure orders are packed according to requirements. You’ll also resolve minor technical issues and carry out basic machine maintenance. You’ll work a three-shift schedule.

What will you be doing?

• Operating finishing machines such as cutting and folding machines
• Checking printed products for quality and specifications
• Carrying out minor maintenance and resolving breakdowns
• Ensuring a safe and tidy working environment
• Reporting production data and deviations

What we ask of you.

• Experience as an operator in a production environment
• Technical insight and knowledge of finishing processes
• Command of Dutch or English
• VCA certificate or willingness to obtain it
