Process Engineer

About the position.

As a Process Engineer, you are responsible for designing, monitoring and improving industrial processes, from chemical plants to production lines in the manufacturing industry. You work closely with operators, the maintenance department and project teams to eliminate process instability and maximise capacity. For you, safety and controllability are not an afterthought but a starting point.

What will you be doing?

• Analysing process parameters and identifying the causes of deviations
• Drawing up and maintaining P&ID diagrams and process flow diagrams
• Carrying out HAZOP studies and risk assessments for process changes
• Supervising process optimisations and modifications in collaboration with production
• Documenting process changes through Management of Change procedures
• Supporting commissioning and start-up procedures for new installations

What we ask of you.

• HBO or WO in Chemical Technology, Process Engineering or a similar field
• At least 3 years' experience in a process-related environment (chemicals, food, high-tech or energy)
• Knowledge of P&ID, instrumentation and process control systems (DCS/PLC)
• Experience with HAZOP or other risk analysis methods is an advantage
• Accurate, analytical and able to get to the bottom of complex process problems independently
