About the position.
As a process operator, you control continuous production processes in an industrial environment. You monitor parameters, respond to alarms and make sure the process stays within the set limits. At a plant in the Eindhoven region, you are responsible for a safe, stable and efficiently running installation.
What will you be doing?
- Monitoring and adjusting process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, concentration) via SCADA or DCS
- Doing rounds of the installation and checking pumps, valves and instrumentation
- Starting up, changing over and shutting down production installations in accordance with procedures
- Responding to process deviations and alarms: diagnosing, adjusting and escalating where necessary
- Taking samples and carrying out laboratory analyses for process monitoring
- Recording process data, faults and particulars in the logbook and information system
What we ask of you.
- MBO qualification Process Operator A or B (level 2–3, in chemicals, food or utilities) or demonstrably equivalent
- At least 2 years' work experience in a continuous or semi-continuous production process
- Knowledge of SCADA, DCS or PLC operation and basic instrumentation
- VCA Basis; knowledge of safety and ATEX regulations is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, calm under pressure and able to make independent decisions when the process deviates
