Production Manager
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a production manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of several production teams or shifts. You connect the shop floor with the management layer and translate production targets into concrete actions. Quality, safety and efficiency are the three pillars you manage by.

What will you be doing?

• Planning and coordinating production across multiple shifts or departments
• Managing team leaders and, indirectly, production operatives
• Drawing up and monitoring production schedules, capacity planning and utilisation rates
• Analysing production data and reporting KPIs to management
• Initiating and guiding improvement projects in the areas of output, rejects and lead time
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, working regulations and quality standards

What we ask of you.

• HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in industrial engineering and management, mechanical engineering or similar
• At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing company, including 2 years in a managerial role
• Proven knowledge of lean manufacturing, OEE measurement or similar production systems
• Able both to plan at a strategic level and to manage on the shop floor
