Production Manager
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As production manager, you bear ultimate responsibility for all production processes within the factory or business unit. You lead production supervisors and team leaders, monitor overall performance and ensure that capacity, quality and costs remain in balance. You work closely with purchasing, logistics and engineering.

What will you be doing?

• Drawing up and executing medium-term production plans (monthly/quarterly)
• Leading production supervisors and monitoring KPIs such as OEE, lead time and rejects
• Monitoring the production budget and reporting to the board or operations manager
• Initiating and leading improvement programmes in the areas of efficiency, safety and quality
• Working with purchasing and logistics on material supply and inventory management
• Being responsible for compliance with safety regulations and certification requirements on the production floor

What we ask of you.

• HBO or WO (university) degree in industrial engineering and management, mechanical engineering or business administration
• At least 7 years' experience in a manufacturing company, including 3 years in a management position
• Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies; certification (Green/Black Belt) is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, AFAS or similar)
