Production Operative Wet Paint Pre-treatment
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

In pre-treatment for wet painting, you make sure workpieces are spotlessly clean, degreased and, where necessary, phosphated or chromated before they enter the spray booth. The work is physically active and requires an eye for detail: a poor substrate leads directly to adhesion or corrosion problems in the final coating.

What will you be doing?

• Carrying out manual and mechanical degreasing processes (alkaline, solvent)
• Operating immersion or spray installations for chemical pre-treatment
• Checking bath concentrations, temperatures and processing times
• Masking parts and fitting hangers for the spraying process
• Identifying and rejecting workpieces with rust, pitting corrosion or contamination
• Keeping bath records and taking process samples

What we ask of you.

• MBO working and thinking level (level 2 or 3), preferably in Chemistry or Metal
• Willingness to work with chemicals while using personal protective equipment
• Basic knowledge of corrosion prevention and surface treatment is an advantage
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to work shifts
• VCA Basis certificate
