About the position.
As a Project Engineer, you bear technical responsibility for projects within the manufacturing industry or building services, from preparation to handover. You translate customer requirements into workable technical plans and keep a close eye on progress. You liaise daily with clients, suppliers and the operational teams on the shop floor.
What will you be doing?
- Drawing up and monitoring technical project specifications and scope documents
- Coordinating engineering, purchasing and execution within the project team
- Monitoring schedule, budget and quality throughout the project phases
- Holding technical consultations with customers and subcontractors
- Identifying and managing technical risks and deviations
- Preparing technical reports and handover files
What we ask of you.
- HBO in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar field
- At least 3 years' experience as an engineer or technical project coordinator
- Good knowledge of project methodologies (Prince2 or similar is an advantage)
- Skilled in reading and drawing up technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communicator, results-driven and able to manage multiple priorities at once
