About the position.
As an R&D Engineer, you work on developing new technologies, products or production processes for high-tech or industrial clients in the Eindhoven region. You combine in-depth technical knowledge with an inquisitive mindset and translate laboratory results into applicable solutions. You operate in an environment where experimentation is valued, provided it is well founded.
What will you be doing?
- Setting up and carrying out technical studies and test set-ups
- Designing prototypes and evaluating test results
- Documenting findings in research reports and technical specifications
- Translating research results into design recommendations for engineering
- Following relevant technological developments and assessing their applicability
- Working with external knowledge institutes, universities or suppliers
What we ask of you.
- HBO or WO in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related)
- At least 2 years' experience in an R&D or technology development environment
- Proven ability to analyse experimental data and draw conclusions
- Knowledge of CAD and/or simulation software is an advantage
- Curious, accurate and able to formulate and work out research questions independently
