Breakdown Technician
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a breakdown technician, you are the one who gets called when things go wrong. You quickly analyse what is going on, take safety measures and solve the problem — ideally in a way that stops it from coming back. You work under time pressure but keep a cool head.

What will you be doing?

• Analysing faults in mechanical, pneumatic and electromechanical systems
• Carrying out structured diagnosis based on symptoms, measurement results and diagrams
• Repairing defects in drives, sensors, actuators and cabling
• Documenting the cause of the fault, the action taken and advice to prevent recurrence
• Coordinating the order and scheduling of repair work with production
• Identifying structural causes and recommending improvements to the maintenance department

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years' experience in a comparable breakdown or maintenance role
• Proven knowledge of PLC controls (Siemens, Omron or similar) is a strong advantage
• Resilient under pressure and able to reason systematically under production pressure
• Driving licence (category B); willing to be available occasionally outside office hours
