Production Team Leader
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As production team leader, you lead a group of operators or production operatives on the shop floor. You make sure daily production runs smoothly, monitor quality and resolve disruptions straight away. You are the first point of contact for your team and report to the production supervisor or manager.

What will you be doing?

• Leading a team of 5 to 20 production operatives in terms of planning, staffing and execution
• Monitoring production progress and making adjustments when output, quality or lead time deviate
• Passing on production instructions and work orders to team members
• Identifying and resolving breakdowns, safety incidents or quality deviations
• Recording production results, rejects and absenteeism in the production system
• Coaching team members and supporting new employees during their induction

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4, in engineering, production or logistics
• At least 3 years' work experience in a production environment, including demonstrable supervisory experience
• Knowledge of lean principles or continuous improvement (5S, TPM) is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and authority on the shop floor
