About the position.

As a technical operator, you combine production work with technical maintenance. You operate the installation, carry out preventive maintenance and actively track down the cause of breakdowns. This role calls for more technical depth than a standard operator position and suits anyone who wants to take a further step towards the maintenance department.

What will you be doing?

• Operating and monitoring technically complex production installations
• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, pneumatic or electrical faults
• Calibrating and adjusting measuring instruments and production equipment
• Recording faults, maintenance activities and replaced parts in the CMMS
• Working with the maintenance department during overhauls and planned shutdowns

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience as an operator with technical duties or in a maintenance department
• Ability to read technical drawings, diagrams and maintenance manuals
• Problem-solving skills and the initiative not to leave a stalled process waiting
