Technical Draughtsman
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a technical draughtsman, you translate concepts and engineering principles into clear, manufacturable drawings. You work closely with structural designers and engineers and make sure the drawings are correct down to the last detail. The accuracy of your work prevents errors on the shop floor.

What will you be doing?

• Producing technical working drawings, assembly drawings and detail drawings
• Processing revisions and comments from engineering and the customer
• Checking drawings for dimensions, standards and manufacturability
• Maintaining the drawing archive and version control in line with project procedures
• Liaising with structural designers, work planners and production operatives on drawing content
• Assisting with the preparation of bills of materials and technical documentation packages

What we ask of you.

• MBO 4 working and thinking level, in structural engineering, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
• At least 2 years' experience as a technical draughtsman
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Inventor, SolidWorks or a similar 3D package is an advantage
• Knowledge of relevant standards (NEN/ISO drawings, tolerances, surface finish symbols)
• An eye for detail and an independent working attitude
