Tool Management Operative
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a tool management operative, you manage the entire tool inventory of a manufacturing company: from issuing and registration to grinding, recertification and management of machine knives and cutting tools. You work in a structured way and make sure production staff always have sharp, certified tools at their disposal.

What will you be doing?

• Managing the issue and return of cutting tools via a registration system (ERP or tool software)
• Checking tool condition and planning grinding and repair orders
• Keeping track of tool stock and initiating replenishment orders
• Coordinating external grinding and recertification of tools
• Drawing up and maintaining tool documentation and tool life records
• Identifying structural tool loss or unusual wear patterns

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering, Metalworking or Logistics
• Experience in a manufacturing company with CNC machining tools or press/stamping tools
• Knowledge of tool materials (HSS, carbide, cermet) is an advantage
• Precise, structured and able to work independently
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, AFAS or similar)
