About the position.
As paint maker and manager of the paint store, you are responsible for mixing paints and coatings based on technical formulations and for the daily stock control of all paint and chemical flows. You work closely with the spray shop and make sure the right products are available in the right quantities.
What will you be doing?
- Preparing paint mixtures according to technical data sheets and colour formulations
- Weighing, mixing and checking hardener ratios and viscosity
- Managing the stock of paints, thinners, primers and hardeners
- Receiving, storing and registering chemical deliveries in accordance with ADR rules
- Maintaining colour registers and product data sheets (SDS)
- Identifying quality deviations or expired shelf-life dates
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 3 in Chemistry, Painting or similar
- Hands-on experience preparing industrial paints or coatings
- Knowledge of hazardous substances (ADR/GHS) and first aid for chemical exposure
- Precise and orderly, with an eye for FIFO stock management
- VCA Basis and knowledge of the relevant safety instructions
